Why should you attend the DSD Residency 1 in Madrid this October? Perhaps you have heard or read about Digital Smile Design and are considering joining us for dental education? If you’re still thinking about it, here are five ways that you will benefit from taking the plunge and booking your place on this highly popular dentistry course.
There is no better way to understand the DSD Concept that is disrupting dentistry, than attending a DSD Residency. When you take the plunge and leave your comfort zone behind, you will be preparing yourself to succeed by being one step ahead of the game with this innovative new concept.
Across four days, you will be introduced to the basics of the DSD Workflow and clinic by Christian Coachman, experience a live patient demonstration of the first appointment and have a chance to get hands on, practicing how to perform the DSD documentation and patient 3D digitalization. You will also meet like-minded clinicians, some of whom are starting their DSD journey and others who can share excellent practice of their own experiences of being a DSD Clinic.
Christian Coachman, DSD Founder and CEO explains:
“The course goal is to really generate a change, to feed people with information and enough energy to allow them on Monday morning to change or improve the way they practice. The DSD concept is divided in four main goals - design, plan, communicate and perform, and the four days of the DSD Residency cover these concepts in full. The goal is not only to give you the information on the course but also the support after the course as we know the challenge will happen Monday morning after the course ends.”
The DSD Residency is not the end of the journey, it's just the beginning. Once you are a part of the DSD family you will be supported by our team and have access to the DSD Planning Center which will enable you to put into practice all of the theory you have gained from the Residency.
Don’t just take our word for it, here’s what one of our participants, Dr Touissant Crawford, had to say, before and after attending a Residency:
Before:
“Before coming I all I really knew was that this was going to allow me to do a little bit more integration of my scanning into smile design and I'd also knew that I could do a little bit of implantology but I had no idea exactly how that was going to happen.”
After:
“I felt like the course was a lot of fun and I came here wanting to kind of seal up some gaps in my knowledge. I've spent a lot of time educating myself over the last 12 years. For me I feel like this Residency brought together all of those elements. I really feel confident about the path that I need to take and the list of things I need to do is long but I'm pretty happy with knowing where I want to go. I think it's going to be an exciting next six to 12 months for my for my office.”
DSD Residencies take place around the world in key locations. Here is what you can expect from attending one in Madrid, besides the incredible educational experience:
Madrid is an excellent location for your DSD Residency. With its international airport just 30 minutes outside of the city, and great public transport links, it couldn’t be easier to access from across the world. In fact, Madrid–Barajas Airport has on average just less than 58 million passengers travelling through its terminals each year. Flight times from Dubai and New York are just eight hours, and from London just over 2 hours. For those travelling from neighbouring Germany and France, there is no time difference, and from London just an hour difference, making it ideal to step off the plane and get started!
When you get to Madrid, the weather in October is pleasantly hot with little rainfall. Perfect weather for taking a stroll through the city to take in the local culture. Admire the architecture with a visit to Madrid Royal Palace or the Plaza Mayor. For an unrivalled view of this stunning city, take a ride up the Faro de Moncloa, a former transmission tower that offers a panoramic view at 92 meters. There’s plenty of places to eat and drink and plenty of hotels to choose from.
The time to act is now. Our April DSD Residency in Madrid sold out and many people were left disappointed that they had not secured their place. So how could attending a DSD Residency 1 change your dental career and clinic?
