We are excited to announce the launch of DSD'r magazine – a dedicated resource for smile designers around the world. The magazine will help you to stay informed about the latest DSD company news and details of upcoming educational events, along with success stories from DSD Clinics globally and clinical cases that demonstrate the DSD Concept. We are always looking for ways to enhance our communication with you, and our hope is that this publication will inform and inspire!
The magazine will be published three times a year and is available in a digital format via a free of charge subscription. We are really excited to create and share this new resource to support and link DSD practitioners around the world.
Each issue will be packed full of useful, informative and inspiring content from the DSD team. This will include:
The first issue is jammed full of content from the DSD team. The theme for this issue of DSD'r magazine is Take a Step.
Why?
Because all you need to do to change your current position is to move forward and take a single step. Christian Coachman, DSD Founder and CEO said,
“We have the privilege to connect with dentists from all over the world through our popular courses every month. I love to hear about your success stories; the one thing your stories all have in common is that they began with a single step. You were unsatisfied with your situation, so you took action. And it paid off big time! I salute you!
If you are unsatisfied with your current position, whether it be with your clinic, your role or your career path or even how you feel about dentistry as a whole, I would urge you to make 2019 the year that you take a step and move forward. You won’t regret it!”
Dr Sheena Sood gives us an insight into how DSD transformed her clinic in Vancouver.
“I see cases so differently now. When someone comes to me with what should be something simple, I see so much more.“
Learn about her journey from attending a DSD Residency to implementing this innovative smile design system in her clinic, and her experiences along the way.
Dr Francis Coachman, DSD Planning Center Director, gives a unique insight into how the Planning Center operates on a day to day basis, using the most advanced software and DSD Protocols and Quality Control system the Center to ensure that dentists enjoy the benefits of Digital Interdisciplinary Dentistry, and why it can help you to deliver your patient’s dream smiles with greater accuracy and precision.
Christian Coachman DSD Founder and CEO, Lauren Bohner, DDS, MSc, PhD, and Newton Sesma, DDS, MSc, PhD, present a case report describing a facially-guided implant planning for computer-guided surgery and installation of immediate interim prostheses. Using data collection including photographs, scanned intraoral casts and CBCT scans, a smile frame was created based on reference lines and superimposed to intraoral casts in order to guide the virtual waxing. The virtual waxing was then superimposed to the CBCT scans to determine the implant positioning.
Don’t miss out on your spot on a DSD Residency in 2019. We provide all of the remaining locations for 2019 in this magazine and how you can book.
