Due to the global impact of Covid-19, Digital Smile Design company, including DSD Planning Center® and DSD Lab®, has taken prompt action as recommended by the World Health Organisation to minimise the spread to employees, their families and customers. These actions were taken quickly and responsibly by senior management to reduce any impact on the company’s services.
All team members from our offices in Madrid, Miami, Liverpool, Shanghai and São Paulo who are able to work from home are doing so, and services that require specialist equipment, such as those in the DSD Lab®, are operating as normal in situ for the foreseeable future.
Despite these changes the DSD Planning Center and DSD Lab continue to operate as normal, including all smile design, treatment planning, product manufacture and customer support functions.
The DSD Education team has taken special measures which includes postponing all events scheduled for March and April of 2020. New dates for these events will be released in due course and all registered attendees will be given the option to attend the same event, or a different event at a later date.
All those who have registered for a course that has been postponed will be given complimentary access to our online learning platform, DSD Online Education.
The DSD Clinics team will be reaching out to all customers who have scheduled clinic consultancies in the coming weeks to rearrange a more appropriate time.
We will continue to update you on our status of courses and related activities through our official channels and directly with our customers. In the meantime, we are working hard to minimize the effects caused by these extraordinary circumstances and we welcome any feedback you may have on this topic.
